Community Connections - How 211 Connected Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties with Resources in 2025

United Way’s 211 Hotline, funded locally by Black River United Way for Georgetown and Williamsburg counties, is a free, confidential service connecting residents to critical health and human services — from housing and utility assistance to food, healthcare, and more. In 2025, community members made 1,129 calls, received 2,531 referrals, and generated 3,275 total contacts, demonstrating how often neighbors turn to 2-1-1 for help. Whether facing a crisis or seeking everyday support, dialing 2-1-1 connects our local community to real solutions and trusted resources close to home.
