On November 7th, 2024, our Annual United To Read event took place at 10 elementary schools in Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties. 92 volunteers read The Sour Grape by Jory John and Pete Oswald to over 3,000 children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and Special Education classes. Each classroom was given a copy of the book to read and enjoy in the future. It was wonderful to see the joy on the children's faces as enthusiastic volunteers read the story and engaged with their class.
