Disaster Resiliency is an initiative that focuses on preparing our community for any natural or man-made disasters.

Strategies for Support:

Preparing funds for an early response, making sure money is already available before a disaster hits so that volunteers can start relief operations immediately.

Preparing partners for early action is about financing activities ahead of a disaster so that they are prepared before the shock, mitigating the impact of disaster on the population.

Protecting the most vulnerable is a way for individuals to be protected against losses that are induced by disasters.

Winyah Bay COAD/LTRG(Community/Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster and Long Term Recovery Group) dedicated to helping communities make the best of their resources in a disaster by creating partnerships prior to an event in order to ensure that human needs probable in a disaster situation are assessed and met.
Be Ready!
Be Ready! is a disaster preparedness program. Through this program, we are leverage and share resources, assist agencies with disaster plans, and ​equip community with preparedness education. All these efforts help to prepare families in an effort to reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters.
Build United
Build United provides mitigation resources for individuals in need of home repairs, and it also promotes post-disaster mitigation as part of repair and recovery.
